Animal description

About the Klipspringer (Oreotragus oreotragus)

The klipspringer is a small species of African antelope whose name literally translates to "cliff jumper" in the native tongue. These small herbivores roam the cliffs and mountains of southern and eastern Africa and are known to be able to fit all four of their hooves onto a cliff edge the size of a Silver Dollar. Their olive and salt-and-pepper coat coloration makes them almost impossible to spot amongst the cliffs where they dwell.
