Description of Taxidermy For Sale

This is an simply monstrous silver Chinook (AKA "King") Salmon taxidermy fish mount. With a length of 49", a girth of 27", and an astonishing estimated live weight of 44.65 lbs, this fish is a sight to behold. The King is facing to the left, with open jaws. The fins, painting and craftsmanship are all stunning, with incredible detail in the ruby and olive coloring, and dark pewter shading along it's back, meeting our prestigious Premier™ rating.

- There is already a hanger attached to the back of this item.

- The item will hang on a properly anchored drywall screw.

About the Chinook (King) Salmon (Oncorhynchus tshawytscha)

The chinook Salmon is a massive fish that can be found along the northern Pacific coast, as far south as Baja, CA...all the way north along Alaska and Siberia, then further south down into Japan. The chinook’s average size may be 10-50 lbs, but the biggest can be upwards of 130 lbs. The Chinook is blue-green, with a red or purple hue on the back and top of the head, with silver sides. It has black spots on its tail and the upper half of its body.
