Raccoons are very opportunistic omnivores, with their diet consisting of plants, fruits, insects, crayfish, frogs and mice as well as almost any scrap food that is readily available. Their opportunistic feeding habitats have earned them bad reputations around houses and cabins where they often tip over trash cans.
