Description of Taxidermy For Sale

This is an good sable back hide. The quality is great, as it has been professionally tanned and cleaned. The hide integrity itself is good, the hair is incredible, and it smells great too, earning our Nice™ overall quality rating. All applicable dimensions are included to help ensure this item will fit within your intended display space.

- This item is ideally used as a 'throw' hide over the back of a couch or chair.

- This item may be hung on the wall as well (hanger not included) or can be placed on the floor.

About the Common Reedbuck (Redunca arundinum) 

The mountain reedbuck can be found in the mountainous forest regions of Africa, where its diet includes both grasses and leaves. The mountain reedbuck stands around 30 inches at the shoulder, and weighs up to 65 lbs. It has tan/grey hair with a white colored underbelly and redish tan head and shoulders. The male has horns that grow to up to approx. 14 inches in length growing upwards and curving slightly forwards. It forms small herds of around five to 30 individuals depending upon the time or year, usually including a single mature adult male. Adolescent males are often forced away from their herds and create bachelor groups. They are diurnal, but prefer to rest during the extreme heat of the midday sun.

The Specifications of each item, including dimensions and unique characteristics, are recorded on each GSC Card. We include the Depth, Height, Width and Weight of every item when possible. We also include other features such as horn and antler length (when applicable) as well as any other key attributes and descriptions to better identify each items unique characteristics.
