Description of Taxidermy For Sale

This is an phenomenal American Buffalo life-size taxidermy mount, positioned with the head in a upright position looking straight forward out into the room on a custom barn wood and corrugated metal base. This bull has great 16 2/8"+ horns with 12 1/8"+ bases, a fantastic hide, and incredibly soft, thick hair. All this combined with masterful craftsmanship combines to earn this item our coveted Premier Plus overall quality rating, and an SCI Bronze Medal Score of 58 0/8". All applicable dimensions are included to help ensure this item will fit within your intended display space.

- Great for a floor, mezzanine, or entryway.

- This American Buffalo exceeds the Safari Club International Bronze Medal trophy book score requirement.

General Information about the American Buffalo/Bison(Bison bison)

The Buffalo (aka Bison) is a North American species native to the grasslands of North America. Today they can be found in various locations throughout the world including private ranches. This very large member of the bovine family can grow to over 2000 lbs with it's diet consisting mainly of plains grasses. The males horns are black in color and tend to grow horizontally away from the head, curling near the tip.
