About the Dall Sheep (Ovis Dalli)

The dall sheep is a beautiful horned species of sheep found through the western United States and Canada. Their summer habitat are the mountain and cliff regions of the area, where they are safe from predators and can forage for food. In the winter, they migrate out of the mountains and into the snowy open plains in search of food, where their white coat serves as camoflage from predators.
