This is a great Jacobs Four Horn Ram taxidermy shoulder mount. The ram is posed with the head in an upright position looking to it's left side, out into the room. It has thick, shaggy wool coat, large, sturdy curling horns and expert taxidermy work, earning our Nice Plus™ overall quality rating. All applicable measurements and dimensions are provided to help ensure this item will fit within your intended space, as well as meet expectations regarding the items featured attribute sizes, scores, etc.

- There is already a hanger attached to the back of this item.

- The item will hang on a properly anchored drywall screw.

About the Jacobs Sheep (Ovis aries)

The Jacob’s Four Horn (AKA “Jacobs Sheep”) is a four-horned piebald ram found throughout North America, Asia and Europe. The number of horns varies depending on the ram, as they can grow anywhere between two and six horns at a time. Most Jacob’s Sheep feature a blend of black, white or brown/tan coloration in their thick wooly coat. The Jacob’s may be one of the oldest selectively bred sheep, with its origins first recorded in the Hebrew book of the bible, where Jacob (whom the sheep is named after) bred speckled and spotted sheep together. Males will often weigh in access of 175 pounds with females weighing between 100-120 pounds.

About the Jacobs Four Horn Sheep (Ovis aries)

The Jacobs Four Horn (or Jacobs Sheep) is a piebald ram usually found with 4 horns but may have anywhere from 2-6 depending upon the animal, which may range from 10-20" or longer. Jacobs sheep are most often found with a blend of black and white colors, though some exhibit brown, auburn, and tan colors. Males will often weigh in access of 175 pounds, with females weighing between 100-120 pounds.
