Description of Taxidermy For Sale

This is an outstanding Mallard Hen taxidermy duck mount, posed flying to the viewers right. It is mounted to a beautiful piece of driftwood, which further helps enhance the realism of the piece. The feathers and coloration are both in absolutely fantastic condition, featuring rich blue highlights. Along with the wonderful coloration, this duck features prestigious taxidermy craftsmanship and outstanding attention to detail, qualifying this mount for our Premier™ overall quality rating. All applicable sizes and dimensions are included to make sure this item will fit within your intended display space.

- Includes US Fish & Wildlife form 3-186, making it legal to sell/transfer this type of Bird.

- There is already a hanger attached to the back of this item.

- The item will hang on a properly anchored drywall screw.

About the Mallard Duck (Anas platyrhynchos)

The mallard duck is an iconic dabbling duck (puddle duck) found throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia and even North Africa. Mallards are migratory ducks that travel to the northen hemispheres for breeding and to the southern hemispheres to avoid the harsh northern winters. The drakes have beautiful iridescent green heads with grey body feathers. The females are a striking brown color with white accents. Mallards are a medium sized waterfowl with a life expectancy of up to twelve years.
