This is an outstanding life-size Red Fox taxidermy mount, posed mid-flight and attacking a Ptarmigan. It is mounted in a leaping pose, fully extended and reaching out for a fleeing Ptarmigan. The Fox features a beautiful hide, thick, speckled fur and expert quality taxidermy work, and the Ptarmigan features great feather quality and top quality taxidermy, combining to earn our Excellent™ overall quality rating. All applicable dimensions are included to help ensure this item will fit within your intended display space.

About the Red Fox (Vulpes vulpes)
The cunning Red Fox can be found in mountains, forests, grasslands and deserts all over the world. They are solitary hunters who feed on rodents, rabbits, birds, and other small game. Like it’s namesake, the Red Fox sports a beautiful golden-red coat, and has a large, bushy tail used for insulation during long winter months, as well as for signaling other fox from a distance.
