This is a fantastic "reproduction" Mandrill Baboon taxidermy shoulder mount, fabricated with reproduction teeth, synthetic hair and fur, and mounted in a semi-upright position, looking slightly to it's left side, into the room. It is extremely difficult to legally obtain a real Mandrill Baboon shoulder mount, so take advantage of this high-quality replica, containing no real animal parts! The craftsmanship of this piece is splendid, earning this item our Excellent™ overall quality rating. All applicable measurements and dimensions are provided to help ensure this item will fit within your intended space.
- There is already a hanger attached to the back of this item.
- The item will hang on a properly anchored drywall screw.
About the Mandrill Baboon (Mandrillus sphinx)
The Mandrill is a primate of the “Old World” monkey family, native to the tropical rain forests of southern Cameroon, Gabon, and Congo. Both the male and female are brown and olive in color, but the male steals the show with his “warpaint” facial coloring, featuring red, white, and blue coloring on the muzzle (the same colors are visible on the male’s hindquarters as well). The Mandrill lives on a steady diet of various types of vegetation, insects, and small mammals.
