This is a spectacular Chinook (aka "King") Salmon taxidermy fish mount. With a length of 41.25", a girth of 25", and an estimated live weight of 32 lbs, this fish is a monster. The Salmon is facing to the viewer's right side looking out into the room with it's mouth open. The skillful hand of a masterful fish artist was able to capture the natural beauty that is hard to replicate, a catalog of rainbow colors hidden within the silver scales of this beautiful fish. The fins are in perfect condition and the craftsmanship is stunning. All of this combines to help this fish earn our coveted World Class™ overall rating. All applicable dimensions are included to help ensure this item will fit within your intended display space.

About the Chinook Salmon (Oncorhynchus tshawytscha)

The Chinook Salmon is a massive fish that can be found along the northern Pacific coast, as far south as Baja, CA...all the way north along with Alaska and Siberia, then further south down into Japan. The chinook’s average size is 10-50 lbs, but the biggest can be 130 lbs. The Chinook is blue-green, with a red or purple hue on the back and top and silver sides. It has black spots on its tail and the upper half of its body.
