This is a gorgeous Tiger Trout freshwater fish taxidermy mount. This beautiful trout measures 18.5" long, has a girth of 10" and an estimated live weight of 2 lbs. It is posed facing the viewer's right side with an open mouth and is affixed to a natural driftwood branch. The fins, painting and taxidermy craftsmanship are all in outstanding shape, especially considering the fact that this piece is a real skin mount. All of this combined has helped this item earn our Excellent Plus Star™ overall quality rating. All applicable dimensions are included to help ensure this item will fit within your intended display space.
- There is already a hanger attached to the back of this item.

About the Tiger Trout (Salmo trutta × Salvelinus fontinalis)
The tiger trout is a sterile Brown and Brook trout hybrid. The fish gets its name from the pattern resembling that of a tiger. This fish has the mixture of spots of both species but has the striped pattern of the native Brook Trout. This is a very renowned hybrid because the species that produce it are of different genres, meaning they are not even subspecies of each other. Tiger trout, in particular, are known for being piscivorous or primarily fish-eating species which is unlike its parent species who primarily feed on larvae and small invertebrates.
