Detachable Horns & Antlers

Detachable horns and antlers provide a convenient way to safely handle, ship, or hang taxidermy mounts. In most cases, a square, steel peg system is used to connect the horns to the animal. This system makes both attaching and removing the horns or antlers simple and effortless, while remaining accurate and precise, for a perfect fit, every time. Careful attention to detail is applied when implementing this system into any of our taxidermy mounts, ensuring that every angle, tilt, and spread remain the same after being attached. No item will ever be detached or altered in order to increase its spread, score, or general appearance. When possible, we always try to make our horns detachable, adding value and convenience for our customers. The exception for us not making horns and antlers detachable comes when the animal reaches record book size, at which point both collectors and record-keeping organizations require the horns or antlers to be original and unaltered in any way.
