For sale, we have a beautiful African Aardwolf shoulder taxidermy mount, posed in a semi-upright position looking slightly to the viewers left out into the room. If you are wanting to start an African collection or want that "Safari" feel, this is a great piece too begin with. The hair and hide are both in fantastic condition, and the artist spared no expense when adding details, giving it a life-like aggressive look. This African Aardwolf has been professionally cleaned to ensure it will last a lifetime. With a hanger already on the back of this piece, it will hang on a properly anchored drywall screw. All applicable measurements and dimensions are provided in the specifications section to help ensure this item will fit within your intended space, as well as meet expectations regarding the item's featured attribute sizes, scores, etc.

About the Aardwolf (Proteles cristata)
The Aardwolf is small, insectivorous mammal, native to the “scrublands” of Africa. What does “insectivorous” mean? Well, it means they eat a lot of bugs. They’re actually cousins with the hyena, but not even half the size. They prefer termites, and their long, sticky tongues allow them to eat up to 250,000 in one night! Their beautiful striped coats and ears are similar to the hyena, but their long, slender noses are instantly recognizable.
